Special Division for Disabled Visitors
On December 3, 2023, on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, a special division for disabled visitors was opened for deaf and blind visitors in cooperation with the Deaf Association, the Blind Association, and Pactos Knowledge Enterprise.
Current facilities of this division:
1- Museum tour system for the blind
2- Access of the blind to the website of the Golestan Palace complex
3- Embossed images of some prominent buildings of Golestan Palace and two Qajar documents written in Mon script or a script similar to today's Braille.
4- Virtual tour of Golestan Palace for the deaf (available and accessible in the gallery section - virtual visit, on the website of the complex).
