The management of Golestan Palace World Heritage Complex opened the southern doors of Badgir Mansion in Nowruz 1402.
According to the public relations report of the Golestan Palace World Heritage Complex, due to the high number of Nowruz tourists, the southern doors of the Badgir mansion were opened to facilitate the visitors' access and also visiting the handicrafts exhibition.
Also, Haft Sin Table of World Heritage Complex of Golestan Palace is also located in Badgir Mansion.
It should be mentioned that the Badgir Mansion in Golestan Palace was built between 1841 and 1881 AD by the order of Fath Ali Shah Qajar. Also, Muzaffar Al-din Shah Qajar was crowned in "Badgir Masion" of Golestan Palace.
The name of this building is derived from the high wind catcher of this building. This mansion was completely rebuilt by the order of Nasser Al-din Shah. The plan of the main hall of this mansion is cruciform and this hall is decorated with a very wide and beautiful sash along with mirror work and plastering. Badgir Towers are the only wind catchers decorated with mosaics in Iran.
