The director of the Golestan Palace World Heritage Complex announced holding of the "Boustan in Golestan" exhibition on the occasion of May 1, the commemoration day of Sheikh Ajal Saadi.
According to the public relations of the Golestan Palace World Heritage Complex report, Afrin Emami, referring to the mission of this world comoplex in preserving and introducing cultural works and heritage, said: due to the existence of exquisite manuscripts in the Golestan Palace treasure, the Boustan exhibition in Golestan on the commemoration day of Sheikh Ajal Saadi, an Iranian Persian-speaking poet and writer, is going to be held.
Referring to the emphasis of Mr.Zarghami, the Minister of Cultural Heritage, as well as Dr. Darabi, Deputy Minister, to introduce more Iranian elites, she added: "In this context, one of the most important programs of Golestan Palace is the explanation and introduction of Iranian literary elites, which started in March of last year with the program of “compilation of Ferdowsi's Shahnameh”, and continues in 2024.
Emami clarified: Therefore, according to the cultural calendar, Golestan Palace is organizing exhibitions of cultural and artistic elites based on the works which are available in this world complex.
she continued: The Boustan exhibition will be held in Golestan with the display of five exquisite manuscripts of Saadi, including a 10th century Boustan written by Mir Ali Soltani, which has five miniature illustrations.
Emami pointed out: 14 paintings of Saadi's poems taken from Golshan's Muraqqa will be exhibited in the Boustan exhibition in Golestan Palace.
