Persian Gulf exhibition based on the maps of Golestan Palace Treasury

 

The Persian Gulf Exhibition, based on the maps preserved in the Golestan Palace Treasury from the Naseri and Mozaffari periods, will be held for a week in the Golestan Palace on the occasion of the Persian Gulf Day.

According to the public relations of the Golestan Palace World Heritage Complex report, the Persian Gulf exhibition based on the maps preserved in the Golestan Palace treasury, includes four documentary maps belonging to the Naseri and Mozaffari periods, and one of these maps with dimensions of 137 x 101 which is a painting for 1900 AD, these words are written: “To the king of Iran Mozaffaruddin Shah".

 

Also, in another map, measuring 94 x 88, it is written: "Drawing by Mirza Reza Khan, engineer of mathematics and cartography, year 1324"

 

In the third map, measuring 65 x 55, it is written: "Map of the guarded domains of Iran - and some part of Russia, Khawrazm, Afghanistan, Balochistan and some part of India - year 1267"

Also, in the fourth map, measuring 134x108, it is written: "Map of guarded domains of Iran - year 1286 - drawn by Ali Ashraf Qarajeh Daghi"

It should be noted that the Persian Gulf exhibition based on maps of the Golestan Palace treasury from the Nasri and Mozaffari periods is held for one week in Hozkhaneh mansion of the Golestan Palace.
