Commemorating World Museum Day on May 18, with the slogan "Museums, Sustainability and Well-being"

According to the public relations of the Gostan Palace World Heritage Complex report, on the occasion of "World Museum Day", a specialized and public exhibition will be held in cooperation with all the museums of Tehran and related institutions on Thursday, May 18, 2023, in Mashgh Square, Tehran which becomes "Museum Square".

It should be noted that alongside the introduction of about 30 museums in Tehran, special programs including children's workshops, live music performances, etc. will be implemented.

Among other official programs of this event, presentation of the performance report of the General Directorate of Museums, the speech of the high official of the ministry, the deputy minister and the representatives of the international and national ICOM and appreciation of the country's selected activists and experts in the field of museums can be named.
