According to the public relations of Golestan Palace World Heritage Complex report, Dr. Ahmad Mohit Tabatabai, the head of the International Committee of Museums of Iran - ICOM, in the World Museum Day ceremony, introduced the activists and colleagues who cooperated with this committee during fourteen periods in the ceremony of choosing the best museum and thanked them for their role in this work.

Among them, Mrs. Afarin Emami, thanks to her many efforts and valuable activities, won the certificate of appreciation and the badge of the best and selected museum for Golestan Palace.

It should be mentioned that during the years of her presence in cultural heritage, Emami has managed three different museums in Tehran, including Niavaran Palace Museum, Reza Abbasi Museum and Golestan Palace World Heritage Complex.
