According to the public relations of the Golestan Palace World Heritage Complex report, Afarin Emami, the director of the Golestan Palace Complex, said: After visiting holy shrine of Abdul Azim Hassani (PBUH) and meeting with Hojjat-ul-Islam val-Muslemin Seyed Ali Qazi Asghar in charge of the holy shrine and visiting the Astan Museum of Abdul Azim Hassani (AS), The first joint program of Golestan Palace and holy shrine’s museum was launched.

Emami stated: Therefore, due to the existence of many works in the Astan Museum of Abdul Azim Hassani (PBUH), which has a common connection with the Golestan Palace, it was decided a joint exhibition will be arranged by these two museum and heritage institutions and in the first step, the exhibition of the inscriptions "Narrative of the Assassination of Naser al-Din Shah" will be held.

She explained about these inscriptions: Naser al-Din Shah was assassinated in the shrine of Abdul Azim Hassani, and during the time that his tomb was there, inside and around the tomb, there was an inscription scribe by Mahdi Sharif Shirazi, one of the calligraphers of the Qajar era, in the style of Qajar period. After the restoration of the shrine, these inscriptions were transferred to the Astan Museum.

Emami said: In these inscriptions, the story of Naser al-Din Shah’s assassination and how he was killed and then the transfer of his body to the Golestan Palace and finally his burial near the shrine of Abdul Azim Hosni are mentioned.
