The director of the Golestan Palace World Heritage Complex announced the opening of an exhibition of exquisite handwritten Qurans under the title of Everlasting Words in this World Heritage Complex in collaboration with the National Museum of the Holy Quran in the spring of Nature and Quran.
According to the public relations of the Golestan Palace World Heritage Complex report, Afarin Emami said: On the occasion of Nowruz 1403 and the holy month of Ramadan, the exhibition of the Everlasting Words containing 20 exquisite Qurans from the National Museum of the Holy Quran in this world complex will be opened on March 20, 2024.
In addition, Hojjat al-Islam, Fakhreddin Sabri, the head of the National Museum of the Holy Quran, said: In this exhibition, 20 exquisite Qurans of historical periods from the Safavid and Zandiyeh era to the Qajar period are displayed, and these Qurans are handwritten by calligraphy artists of the past centuries.
He also explained two exquisite Quranic works in this exhibition: the first work is a part of the Quran in Kufi script for the sixth century AH and the other Quran is a precious scroll of the Quran which goes back to the Qajar period.
It should be noted that the Kalam Javadan exhibition is open to visitors from March 20 to April 19, 2024 at the Anthropology Museum of Abyaz Palace.
