During the Nowruz visit, Noukandeh, the head of the National Museum of Iran said: The India in Golestan Exhibition shows Qajar economic transparency

The head of the National Museum of Iran referred to the India in Golestan exhibition as a special exhibition at the level of museums in the country and said: The jade works of this exhibition have well depicted the economic transparency of the Qajar period.

According to the public relations of the Golestan Palace World Heritage Complex report, Jebrail Nokandeh, head of the National Museum of Iran, during his Nowruz visit to the India in Golestan exhibition, said: The exhibition of jade works in the Golestan Palace, in my opinion, in terms of content, topic selection, arrangement, the lighting, and the exhibition space, is one of the best museum exhibitions in the country.

He continued: In this exhibition, according to the book of existing properties, it shows that the clarification of information can still help us, that is, when we have economic transparency, we are better off and the future will judge us correctly, for example if this information had not been recorded at that time, maybe I would not have that judgment about the Qajar period during this visit.

It should be noted that the India in Golestan exhibition, the collection of exquisite jades from the Golestan Palace treasury, includes 127 objects, such as an inlaid jade lid box, a studded jade rose water sprinkler, a four – part gilded and inlaid salt container with onyx spoon, a Safavid jade platter and drinking bowl, an inlaid studded pen box, will be held until April 19, 2024 and is open to the public.
