According to the public relations of Golestan Palace World Heritage Complex report, a memorandum of understanding was signed by Afarin Emami, director of this world complex, and Mustafa Deh Pahlevan, head of the Cultural Heritage and Tourism Research Institute.

The goals of this memorandum are the mutual use of information sources, documents, capacities and opportunities for research, studies, and expertise, and the publication of reports on actions taken in common and agreed areas.

Also, based on this memorandum, the parties will carry out joint systematic cooperation in education, consultation, study, documentation, research, organization and protection and restoration measures related to this complex.
