The documentary “Carpet of Golestan Palace Mirrors Hall” directed by Alireza Qasim Khan will be shown for the first time in the Golestan Palace World Heritage Complex.

According to the public relations of the Golestan Palace World Heritage Complex report, this documentary, which includes the narration of the precious carpet of the Mirrors Hall of Golestan Palace, will be screened for the first time on Wednesday, July 3, from 2 to 4 p.m. for the first time in the opening ceremony at this world complex with the presence of Afarin Emami, the director of Golestan Palace and speech of the researcher and director of this documentary.

In this context, Alireza Qasim Khan, a researcher and documentary producer, in explaining his latest work, stated: This documentary is my second work in the field of Golestan Palace carpets, which was made with the research of Mr.Toraj Jole.

He continued: The documentary of the Mirrors Hall carpet in 30 minutes is a visual research that deals with the history of the texture, motifs and origin of this carpet, a precious treasure of the Golestan Palace. Qasim Khan clarified: The Mirror Hall carpet witnessed important historical and cultural events from the Nasser al-Din Shah era to the Pahlavi period and finally the Islamic revolution, and it was also furnished until the beginning of the Islamic Revolution, and after the Revolution, this carpet was moved from the Mirrors Hall to the Golestan Palace treasures repository.

It should be noted that the documentary “Mirrors Hall Carpet” will be screened for the first time on Wednesday, July 3 from 14:00 to 16:00 in this world complex.
