The unveiling of the content plan of Qasr Abyaz / in line with reviewing of Tehran during Qajar period, with the presence of Dr. Ali Darabi, deputy minister and deputy of cultural heritage, will be held on Sunday, October 6 at 3:00 p.m. to commemorate Tehran Day in this world complex.
According to the public relations of the Golestan Palace World Heritage Complex report, Afarin Emami, director of this world complex, pointed out that a research phase was defined for the introduction of the project to review the content of Anthropology Museum (Abyaz Palace) so that this matter can be examined from a scientific and technical point of view, she added: Abyaze Palace is the first museum of this world complex and it is the closest museum to the main entrance.
The director of the Golestan Palace World Heritage Complex continued: This palace has two doors, so it can be used as a pilot to introduce the complex and the Qajar dynasty, and to pay tribute to the Anthropology Museum and to preserve the current works, as well as to protect the Abyaz Palace and Maintaining originality in the use of the building and considering that the museum is located on two floors and many places have lost their useful uses over time, we came to the conclusion that in this palace there are two independent and yet related museums and consider that it has two different entrances and exits and depicts part of Qajar history on each floor.
Emami added: In this regard, from the point of view of history, museology and anthropology experts, such as the current and former directors of Anthropology Museum, and experts of these fields, such as Mr. Mohit Tabatabai, Kargar, Abdul Alipour, Qasim Khan, Behzadi, and Mirshokrai, etc. and after consulting the complex management and cultural and technical managers, as well as collecting data and information, reading documents and property records of the Pahlavi era, we came to the conclusion that this magnificent building can be used for several special purposes.
Referring to the relocation of the works of Anthropology Museum to another place, she added: Therefore, to revise the contents of the Anthropology Museum (Qasr Abyez), the ground floor of the Anthropology Museum will be dedicated to the Qajar era and the first floor of the museum to the Qajar dynasty, important events, prominent people in the fields of art, foreign and constitutional relations, and visitors can choose any or both of them based on their tastes.
