🔸A gilded silver pickaxe with a wooden handle known as a pickaxe of Tehran's
development (Naseri period) is kept in the special museum of Golestan Palace and a
piece of paper that is attached to it as an identification card of the work and shows that
this pickaxe belongs to the museum built by the order of Naser al-Din Shah.
These words are engraved on it; It is a pickaxe that was made for building of the new
city of Naseri and it was the first pickaxe that was used for this purpose by His
Highness Naser al-Din Shah, on Sunday, the 11th of Sha'ban 1284 AH
🔸 There are gilded writings on the four sides of the silver pickaxe.
These writings must have been written on it after the ceremony because the exact time
of the ceremony is mentioned.
